Applications for scholarships are accepted from students in the medical field from select institutions.
2025 AWARDS DINNER
The 2025 Scholarship Awards Dinner took place on November 5, 2025, at the San Francisco Basque Cultural Center. We presented awards to this year’s scholarship winners, heard from guest speaker Dr. Desiree LaBeaud, and gave a Special Recognition Award to FFMRE President David Bourdet.

Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner
Awards are presented to scholarship recipients at a dinner meeting. In the last three years, the annual Awards Dinner has taken place in November.
Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is held for the general membership as a dinner event. At the meeting, Board members for the following calendar year are elected and any changes to the bylaws requiring a vote of the membership are presented.
